GEORGE THOMAS Partner - Investments
George Thomas joined IVFA in 2002 and is based in Bengaluru.

George has been involved in the operational aspects of IVFA’s investments in the grocery retailing, healthcare insurance, media and transportation services industries. He has also led efforts in developing the Firm’s perspective on the microfinance and contract research sectors. George has led the effort to develop “The IVFA Way” - The Firm's approach to building admired businesses.

George has two early turnaround assignments to his credit. He was the Whole-time Director and Chief Operating Officer of BPL Soft Energy Systems. Before that he was the Director of Warner Lambert India’s confectionery business in India. He has undertaken assignments in the foods businesses of Hindustan Lever and Unilever, UK.

George holds a Masters Degree in Humanities from St Stephen’s College, Delhi University.
