Established in 2000, V-Link Group is one of the leading passenger transportation solutions providers in the country. V-Link’s principal interest lies in employee transportation and metered taxis. When IVFA fell in step with V-Link, it was providing Fleet Management Solutions to India’s leading BPOs, media houses and corporate clients in major cities in India.
With IVFA support, V-Link launched “MERU”, a fleet of air-conditioned, GPS-linked, electronic metered taxis in Mumbai. Meru raced through Mumbai and soon became the preferred choice of travel in the city. Exclusive concessions at the new Hyderabad and Bengaluru International Airports, enabled Meru to commence services in these cities in March and May 2008 respectively. March 2008 saw its services in Delhi as well. Meru is now the largest metered taxi service in India.
