Vishal Nevatia

Vishal joined IVF Advisors at inception in late
1999 as Chief Executive Officer. In this role,
he created the enabling infrastructure for
the organization by identifying and assembling
the core team. In the formative process, Vishal
played a seminal role in defining an unparalleled
investment strategy that has positioned the
Fund in a unique niche in Indian private equity
space. He was instrumental in developing robust |

world class internal
processes, which are scaleable, thorough,
mitigate risks, and ensure speedy decisions.
Vishal has successfully led fund raising
for all funds. IVF – I, is the 1st private
equity fund raised from local Indian institutions;
IVF – II has attracted several high quality
international institutions, most of whom were
investing in India for the first time.
On an ongoing basis, Vishal has leveraged
his vast experience and network of relationships
to assist the core team in sourcing high quality
deals. He is actively engaged with the Portfolio
companies as a member on the Board of Directors;
a position corresponding to that of an independent
director with concomitant responsibilities
in shaping governance standards. |

Prior to IVF Advisors,
Vishal worked with Andersen for 11 years.
As a Director of the Corporate Finance practice,
Vishal worked on marketing, consulting, business
advisory and other related services of the
Firm. He played a leading role assisting clients
identify joint venture partners and gain acquisition
targets in India and overseas, and also developed
valuation matrix. The high point of his career
at Andersen was the successful acquisition
of Tetley by Tata Tea, India.
