Sunil Vasudevan Theckath
- Senior Underwriter

  Sunil joined IVF Advisors in 2000 and brings in a deep and thorough practical knowledge of the private equity and venture capital business in India. Sunil has been instrumental in defining the portfolio strategy for the Fund. His experience helps the Fund underwrite its investments better, and create viable exit options for investments. At IVF, Sunil has underwritten 4 investments, which are likely to generate IRR in excess of 35%. He has already successfully exited one investment.Prior to joining IVF Advisors, he had over 10 years of work experience: 7 years with ICICI Venture Funds Management Company and 3 years
   at Larsen & Toubro Limited. As a Fund Manager at ICICI Ventures, he had specific fund management and sectoral responsibilities

Sunil has a Bachelor's Degree in Technology (Mechanical Engineering) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management. .

Vikram Nirula
– Fund Manager

   Vikram joined IVF Advisors in early 2000 as a Fund Manager and has worked closely with Vishal in the formative years of the Fund in setting up IVF Advisors and raising the first fund. In his role as a Fund Manager, Vikram has leveraged his prior experience and wide network in the community of investment bankers to develop and strengthen the deal pipeline. He has sourced and analyzed over 320 investment opportunities and underwritten 4 investments. These investments are likely to generate IRR in excess of 25-30%. He has successfully exited one investment. Vikram has persistently supported portfolio companies in business analysis,   financial planning, and raising capital. Vikram holds a degree in Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Science) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management. Prior to joining IVF Advisors, he worked with Andersen for 5 years in the areas of Business Consulting and Corporate Finance. Vikram worked as a manager in the Global Corporate Finance Group and handled sectoral responsibility for the telecom business for the group.

Mahesh Krishnamurthy
– Fund Manager

   Mahesh joined IVF Advisors in June 2007 as a Fund Management Partner. Prior to joining IVF Advisors, he had over 18 years of work experience in a number of different industries. Most recently, he developed the turnaround strategy and led an acquisition as the head of corporate development at Accelrys, a NASDAQ listed software company. Prior to that he led three venture investments and ten public investments as a general partner at Idanta Partners, a San Diego based early stage venture capital fund , and one venture investment as a general partner at KT Venture Group, a corporate venture capital fund sponsored by KLA-Tencor.   Earlier in his career he has worked for McKinsey, AT&T and Honeywell. His experience spans the technology
spectrum – software and IT services, telecom, networking, semiconductors, semiconductor capital equipment, nanotechnology, and life sciences. He recently returned to India after having spent about 20 years in the US.

His education includes Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology (Bombay) and University of Wisconsin (Madison), and an MBA from Stanford University.
