Peter Keenoy joined Impala Partners in 1999. Prior to this, he was Vice-President at GE Capital and the Chief Credit Officer of GE Capital's Corporate Finance Business unit. Here, he managed a portfolio of over US$ 1 billion and supervised underwriting and due-diligence efforts in excess of US$20   billion of investments. Further, Peter led GE's portfolio diligence efforts on financial institutions acquired in Hungary, Poland, Italy, the Czech Republic, and on the US$ 3 billion joint purchase of non-performing loans from the Government of Thailand with Goldman Sachs.   He served as the head of the leverage buy-out workout group at GE where he oversaw over 15 bankruptcies and numerous restructuring, and served as a director on five companies. He has worked with the audit division at Andersen.



Michael Borom is the co-founder of Impala Partners along with Paul Street. He spent 15 years with GE, and was associated with the mortgage business and leading operational improvement initiatives at five of GE's manufacturing   businesses. Michael was also Chief Financial Officer at Aetna Property & Casualty where in conjunction with Kohlberg, Kravis, Roberts & Co, he led the management's attempt to purchase the business for about US$ 4 billion.   In this process, he oversaw the turnaround of the business' middle market operations and addressed over US$ 1 billion of environmental related issues.
